Notification Channels
Taskitos can notify you through multiple channels. Enable or disable each independently.
Email Notifications
RecommendedBeautiful emails with one-click complete and snooze buttons. Works on all devices. Most reliable channel.
Toggle: Settings → Email Notifications ON/OFF
Push Notifications
Instant browser and mobile notifications. Requires granting permission. Can be more intrusive.
Toggle: Settings → Push Notifications ON/OFF
We Recommend Both
Nag Intensity
Control how many notifications you receive per task. Higher intensity = more reminders.

Testing Your Setup
Use the test buttons in Settings to verify notifications are working:
Test Email Button
Sends a sample overdue task email to your registered email address. Check your inbox (and spam folder) to confirm delivery.
Test Push Button
Sends a sample push notification to your current device. Make sure browser notifications are enabled.
Troubleshooting
Not receiving emails?
- • Check your spam/junk folder
- • Add noreply@taskitos.com to your contacts
- • Verify Email Notifications is toggled ON
- • Use the Test Email button to verify
Not receiving push notifications?
- • Check browser notification permissions
- • Make sure Push Notifications is toggled ON
- • Try the Test Push button
- • Some browsers block notifications in private/incognito mode
Getting too many notifications?
- • Lower your Nag Intensity to "Light"
- • Unstar tasks that don't need aggressive reminders
- • Complete or snooze tasks promptly
- • Expand your Quiet Hours window
