Understanding Task Fields
Due Date
When the task needs to be completed. This determines which category your task appears in (Today, This Week, etc.) and when reminders start.
Starring
Star tasks that need urgent attention. Starred tasks get reminded every hour when overdue, while unstarred tasks only get reminded once per day.
Tags
Color-coded labels to organize tasks. Create tags like "Work", "Personal", "Health", etc. Filter your task view by tag to focus on specific areas.
What Happens After You Create a Task
Once your task is created, here's what to expect:
- Task appears in the right category - Based on the due date, it'll show in Today, This Week, This Month, or Later.
- Reminders are scheduled - When due time arrives, you'll start receiving email notifications.
- Escalating reminders - If you don't complete it, reminders increase: due time → +30min → +2hr → +6hr.
- Auto-rescheduling - If you miss the task completely, it automatically reschedules to the next day.
